The trilateral region of North Rhine Westphalia (DE), Flanders (BE) and the Netherlands is home to one of the world’s most powerful chemical industry clusters that generates almost 20% of the sector’s total turnover in Europe.
Joint Statement
In September 2017 the Ministries of the three regions presented a joint vision and Trilateral strategy on the future improvement of this flagship industry in order to enable the transformation to a sustainable and competitive chemical region.
